With a strong background spanning primary care, pediatric and cardiac intensive care, telehealth, and chronic disease management, Carissa brings a comprehensive and personalized approach to every patient she serves.
Carissa earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University, where she trained as a Family Nurse Practitioner after building a strong foundation in nursing across multiple specialties. Her extensive experience includes caring for patients in hospital systems, outpatient practices, virtual care environments, and specialty medicine, making her uniquely equipped to address both routine and complex patient needs.
She is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and licensed across multiple states, allowing her to expand access to high-quality care for patients both in person and through innovative virtual care models. At NuvoAir Medical, Carissa supports individuals managing respiratory and sleep-related conditions with the same dedication, precision, and empathy that have defined her career.
